The Jomtien Branch of the Bangkok Cosmopolitan Club was formed in September 2004
with six members, after the winding-
We were invited to join the Bangkok Cosmopolitan Club as a Branch. The members of the new Branch wanted to concentrate on charity work and helping people less fortunate than themselves.
We are an English speaking Club with now ten active members, men and women, who work tirelessly for our various projects. We also have another two Lions from other countries and three friends who help us when necessary. Our members are from various countries and most are retirees and are able to devote much time to the club.
The money for our various projects comes from several events held throughout the year. The main fundraiser is, however, our Annual Charity Golf Event. We have raised almost 400,000 Baht from these events, and are looking forward to continuing this tradition.
We meet on the second Wednesday of every month, at various venues around the city.

Our annual subscription is 2,500 baht which includes International and District fees; we make no charge for our own club. All our activities are self funding. Membership of Lions International is by invitation only.
